Wahoo2006 is ?
i didn't reraise the short stacks all-in just because i figured it wouldn't matter because the other guy would fold. i generally don't push qq preflop. i can't decide here, i really left myself in an awkward spot because 1/4 of my stack was in already, but it definitely wasn't too late to fold to kk/aa. so, wwyd

5xBB your usual bring-in or are you tipping your hand?
I think it's close, but you need a read to call here. You certainly have one of them beat...

What's interesting here is that he was ready to see a flop with you as a single opp. but when he is facing two opps he wants to isolate. You would think KK or AA would want a side-pot here. If I thought he was a weak plr who could pull this with JJ or TT I would certainly call. Is the short stack a loose player who would push with high cards? If so, your opp. could be making his move with AK, taking advantage of the pot odds.
I would have to fold it, in general, but there are cases where I could make this call.

Looks like AK to me, but could be a tricky AA/KK. How much gamble do you have in you today?

even if it is AA or KK, you still have a decent, like 15% chance of winning the hand so i think i would call.

Call without a read. When you just flatcall the guys 20 dollar AI, op will overvalue AKs/AKo and JJ-88 here frequently.

He's 5BB into a 96BB stack here. You can't call the remaining 91BB unless you think you're getting the best of it.
Meh, maybe I should play less cash NL at PokerStars (where I can pretty safely fold to aggression from most players)...

You played OK by calling. Should have re-raised when the short stack went all in though. skillz may have still called you, but you should beat him into that move. It's highly unlikely he has aces or kings when he just flat calls your initial raise, so you want to let him know that YOU have aces or kings (or something kinda like that)... give him the opportunity to let his big slick go.

hmm. but don't i 9/10 times want a call by him here? to me, someone calling a 4x raise is most likely to have a non aa/kk pocket pair or suited connector. Seeing as there is no reason to put him on aa/kk, do i not WANT a call? i'm still a favorite against ak, and i'm totally destroying everything else?
