My general read on UTG was slightly maniac, read on MP was a bit fishy. Not terribly trustable as far as reads go, I'm new at this.

(BLINDS $0.01/$0.02) NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD'EM
9 handed table - all pre-flop folds removed for clarity - there were no additional limpers

Seat 3: Hero -CO ($6.35 in chips)
Seat 7: UTG ($1.88 in chips)
Seat 9: MP ($2.35 in chips)

Dealt to Hero :Ah: :Ac:
UTG: Call ($0.02)
MP : Call ($0.02)
Hero : Raise ($0.08)
UTG: Call ($0.06)
MP : Call ($0.06)

*** FLOP *** : :Ad: :Qs:
UTG: Bet ($0.02)
MP : Call ($0.02)
Hero : Raise ($0.04)
UTG: Call ($0.02)
MP : Call ($0.02)

*** TURN *** : :Ad: :Qs:
UTG: Bet ($0.08)
MP : Call ($0.08)
Hero : Call ($0.08)

*** RIVER *** : :Ad: :Qs:
UTG: Bet ($0.08)
MP : Fold
Hero : Raise ($1.80)
UTG: Call All-in ($1.60)

*** SUMMARY ***
Pot: $3.81 | Rake: $0.20

Results in grey:
Hero bet $2, collected $3.93, net +$1.93 (showed hand) [ Ah Ac ] (three of a kind, aces)
UTG lost $1.88 (showed hand) [ Qh 5d ] (a pair of queens)

So for this hand, hiding behind UTG's bet ended well, as it seems they thought my huge river raise was a bluff and MP got sucked out for more cash then if I would have raised the flop or river in any serious way, I think. Question is, do y'all think this was a good play or a poor play that just happened to work out once?

Very well done. You have three of the aces, and UTG is sniffing around for strength when he bets out on the turn after being raised. You played it perfectly, feeding him false information when he was feeling keen.

Ok now back to reality. Though it appeared you tricked him into thinking you were weak, what was actually happening was you were sucking a bad poker player dry. I might play it that way in the future though. It was the proper way to play it against someone who has better than Q5 like this crackhead. I might lower the bet a little though. This call was extra loose.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Nice play but the last raise should have been about 60% of his stack.
You got the call this time from a very poor plr. But on average 60% will get them to either go AI or get you a call from a sightly better opponent (perhaps with an A). Alot of it has to do with your read.

Thanks, good to know that I got mostly lucky and wasn't being a total 'tard. Makes good sense to fire, say, $1 instead of pushing him AI...$1 still cries "Hey, I'm bluffing you". This fella would have likely still pushed AI on it, and it would solicit a call from a better player with a better hand. More $$ for me, w00t.
