Some thoughts...

o If you had to call another 2-3k chips it's a painful laydown.
o flyguymike belongs on your buddy list.
o I'm wanting to check this flop out of position with 3 players to act.

Just curious how come? If the 2nd person to act checks it too, this gives the 3rd person a chance to buy the pot if he has nothing. Wouldn't it be smart to show strength when you have it?

With 4 to the flop if you're not on 4 outs already, you very quickly could get there and the pot isn't huge. If there is some serious action behind you it's really easy to get away from this hand. Seeing a free turn card isn't the worst thing for your hand either.
