I've only been playing No Limit Hold 'em for maybe 3 months. I've fixed ALOT of holes I had in my game. I finally got the concept of letting go of pretty hands when you know you're beat.
I'm wondering If I played the following hands wrong. The second hand was me making a stand with only 430 chips left and me on the BB @ 300. Never recovered from haveing my pocket A's cracked. Should I have waited for my last hand on the Small Blind?
Can someone help.....?

Both were played fine.
The first you got all your money in as a favorite. Let the cards fall how they may.
The second, you had but a chip and a chair left. You needed to make a move.

Well played.
On the second hand way to put pressure on Mr. SJA by going all in, nothing i hate more than a short stack who refuses to go all in and gets blinded to death...
You put ur chips in with superior hands b4 the cards were turned over, and thatz all u can do.

Yup agree fully. Sometimes you just can't recover after a big hand or two in tourney's, just how it goes.
