thats a tough hand. I might have bet a little harder on the flop and backed off a little bit on the turn/river. with 3 broadway cards out, one pair is in serious trouble. i doubt he is letting go of top two pair like that, and your 5 bucks on the flop bet pretty much let him know you didnt have the spades. if a fourth fell he might have backed out, but he liked his hand

check or min bet the river. someone who missed a str8/flush draw will not be calling you no matter how much you bet.
