Need help with the same hand in 2 situations.

I would call his raise and reevaluate on turn. It seems like his range is something standard like AJ+ and lots of pairs here. He could be protecting his Ax that whiffed. He may also be thinking his overpair is good. Idk that he would make this play with a set. I would call your bet and see if u would donk again on turn since board is not overly drawy if I was him. I don't think youre likely to be behind and would call the raise and reevaluate.
