Pairing your K on the flop with your A kicker is always a nice scenario.

Classic play. Nicely done.

Getting called down by KQ is better.

actually, my favorite "opposing" hand: you're dealt AA or KK and raise accordingly, the flop/turn/river aren't threatening, your bets fold everyone except one caller (he doesn't reraise) who calls your all in, you get to the showdown and he's got a mid to small pocket pair. usually (at least with me) it been JJ or TT, but i've seen it all the way down to 44.

they call to the end without regard for your bets, or the fact that the board has not improved their hand.
