I've been playing online for about 6 months now, years of experience in b&m games... anywho, i've been on a horrid losing streak, i've been within my bankroll(90% of the time) and still continue to go downhill... tomorrow i'm back to micros and an occasional 5+.50. i think i may value my high PP when the board is quite scary. i tend to play my hands such as i do in the following examples. i figure if they raise me i'm calling anywho. I jus' can't put them on any hands in these two instances. two straight hands btw...

the second hand obviously wasn't as scary as the first, and luckily i pulled a profit with these, or could/should i have played differently to try and skank out more money...??? i went on to leave the table and come straight here. i'm breaking for a bit. good night and thank you for any feedback!

In the first hand, I'd have raised more on the flop. Find out where you're at...his call doesn't really tell you anything, though the check makes him holding the straight unlikely (so you're safe to bet the river, which I'd again have bet more on).

In the second hand, pushing seems a tad over the top. The only hands that will call are the ones that beat you (eg QQ, KK, KQ; all of which are possible from the preflop action). The straight is worth worrying about, but a tad unlikely - AJ or AT have gutshots and JT has an OESD. JT is very unlikely from the preflop action. The others are fairly unlikely too. In any case, you can take away their odds with a smaller bet ($8 to pot sized). Here you also get money from Kx hands that are likely to call.
I run a training site...

Here's how I see it....

#1....Well you are obviously ahead PF......and with his call of 8xBB, unless he is an extremely loose....has some kind of starting hand. After that flop he maybe sitting on TT, or a lower PP, maybe AQ, AK. It looks to me like he had the latter.

But I would bet that flop pretty hard.....I'd rather take the pot down there then get sucked out on......then if the hand continues, reevaluate the situation.

#2.....looks like Murdock likes to call big PF bets with nothing special.....I dont know about the flop play...someone un-newbish can take that one. But I dont think I would push.....

Bet 4 on the first flop. Betting 2 then checking the 4 straight board is asking for trouble.

hand 1 bet more on the flop

hand 2 bet less, no need to go all in cold, the only time you get called is when you are beat by a set/2pair of kq.

I would probly just bet 2/3 of the pot, and yes if they have a set/2 pair you are calling here anyways when they put u all-in. but you still might make a little more money from someone who has AK.
