Hand 1 - your hand is marginal at best here. The min-raise on the flop didn't do very much, and for some reasonyou still got the rest of the money in after BB cold called the flop raise. I fold the flop.

Hand 2 - nh

Hand 3 - MP3 is sitting on a pair+draw/sf draw. I doubt he's sitting on 55/AK. I call here.

Hand 4 - It looks to me like you made him fold TT-QQ/AK. If he has AA/KK, you're in a world of trouble. Given his stats, I don't see how 4-betting here is +EV. You're either a coinflip or way behind.

Answering questions to try and improve my own game - if anything seems blatantly wrong please let me know!

Hand 1. Fold to the pre-flop raise. Otherwise fold the flop, do you really think this is just a c-bet? cos that's all you're ahead of, even ten jack has you beat. I'm guessing set or overpair (jj?).

Hand 2. I would probably 3-bet the flop - you're either way ahead, or way behind (43s, 33) but with some outs for the higher full house. What do you put villain on? Turn, yep, I agree. River, if you're sure you are ahead you could c-r flop all-in, but I would do as you did and just call.

Hand 3) Why you folding this flop? you think MP3 has 55? I don't. One on the board, one in your hand... AK min-raised or limped pre-flop, also unlikely.

Hand 4) I think you got lucky. I either call or fold to button's raise here. Probably fold.

Hand 1 Fold pre-flop so you don't get into these situations. Playing good drawing hands SUCKS out of position. A limp, call of a raise, and then massive action on the flop from MP screams set.

Hand 2 I play it like this sometimes. But I think you're beat most of the time on the river here.

Hand 3 UTG+1 is a short stack so we don't care what he has here. Mp3's cold call of a raise then 5-bet allin screams K and a flush draw to me. Call this.

Hand 4 I like it if you're folding to a push

1) Fold pf. I think you need more than TP 9-Kicker to get your stack in. You don't play 9Ts to hit your T and go nuts.

2) Fine

3) Call

4) I fold

Villain could have any 4 here. 3betting is usually not the answer when you are WA/WB unless you think a worse hand calls. A worse 4 will probably call though. He could have a weak, scared overpair (which I assume he would fold). I don't think this has to be WA/WB here since he could have a combo draw. There are only 5 hands that call that we are way ahead of (assuming he would fold a weak overpair). I would like to hear what others think about 3betting.

I thought I made a decent play in hand 1. Raise UTG and Im the lasst of 4 callers. I hit TPWK and check, raiser checks and it checks to the button who bets pot....

Doesnt this bet look like a bluff hoping to take down a pot that knowone seems to want??

I thought so so I min. raised to put him all in. Then the raiser coldcalls behind me and I figure I must be beat but I cant think of a hand he would play this way. By the turn, I have 40 bux into a much bigger pot so I stick it in...... and win!

Raiser had AK and was a complete fish it turns out. Other guy had 88. Is this really a bad play by me??

Hand 3 I should have called for sure. I talked myself into thinking he had me beat but he was just pushing a low flush draw. I felt dumb after that one.

Hand 4 just looked like an isolation play so I thought he would lay down alot here. I definately was not calling a 4 bet.

I would like some more feedback on hand 1 mostly.

Results oriented!!

Don't let the results of the hand convince you that that was the right play!!! If you play future similar situations the same way, don't expect the same results!! PF is boderline (you will be OOP for the rest of the hand) and you normally will need to hit the flop a LOT harder than that to want to felt it... 1 Pair hands like this can easily get you in a LOT of trouble
Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

hand 1 is strange for sure. of course you can't fold once the turn comes. i think the discussion needs to be about your raise on the flop. is this the best play? by raising you are pretty much setting yourself up to get the rest in. i'm confused by this hand. the more i look at it the more bb looks like a complete fool.
