Villain's first orbit at table, no history.

$0.05/$0.1 No Limit Holdem
8 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG dbdaw ($9.45)
UTG+1 oppaz ($10.05)
MP1 Reifenkarl ($16.20)
MP2 RaFiTa21 ($9.30)
CO Miki01 ($13.20)
BTN Hero ($10.00)
SB Scattershot ($12.30)
BB la sangre ($5.20)

Pre-flop: ($0.15, 8 players) Hero is BTN
dbdaw calls $0.10, oppaz calls $0.10, 2 folds, Miki01 calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.70, 2 folds, dbdaw calls $0.60, oppaz folds, Miki01 calls $0.60

Flop: ($2.35, 3 players)
dbdaw bets $1.10, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.10

Turn: ($4.55, 2 players)
dbdaw bets $3.10, Hero???

Hand 2 - I stacked the SS shover the hand before this, so there is every chance he is tilting here (he originally bought in full, then bought in for 20BB after I got his stack). Basically I am more than happy to get it in vs him. To accomplish this, should I just shove w 99 here to isolate against him?? SB is 28/2/1 over about 60 hands, folds to 3bet 50% of the time.

aus_der_hood says "wow", aus_der_hood says "nice call", Hero says "ty", sdgull calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, 1 fold, heliosanchez calls $0.45, 1 fold, sdgull goes all-in $2, Hero says "lol tilt", Hero calls/shoves??

cheers.

Hand 1 I probably fold since he could easily have trips, 33 or A3 even though that is a weak bet on the flop (almost looks like a feeler). If you raised him instead of flat calling it would tell you a lot more. too many hands that fit that pattern that have you beat. Don't go broke with top pair.

Hand 2 is a coin flip so make up your mind, 99 is not a dominant hand against two overcards, so there are many hands right there with you. However, I'd call just because it's not much money and you could send him into even worse tilt by stacking him again so he might spew more. Implied pot odds are good.

hand 1 fold as played, though i would have raised his donk bet to see where i was at, to something like 2.5, if he shoves over that you can preety much be sure your beat.

hand 2 shovel it in to protect your hand and to get hu with the shortie.

WTF
Hand 1 is against an unknown, I play for stacks 100% of the time with TPTK until I have reason to suspect he's good.

Hand 2 shove. IMO you're at least 40% vs both ranges.

edit: 40% may be a a lil high but you have tons of FE and a pretty goot hand. Gambling is fnu

this.

also speaking in chat with players yet to act seems pretty dumb unless it's some elaborate level.

Stacks will become famous soon enoughStacks will become famous soon enough
Hand 1:
The 2 on the turn didn't hit much but A3 or 36, which is unlikely he shows up with either of those hands and semi-bluffs the flop with it. While it is likely he has 55,44 there is only 6 total combos of those hands. Remember this is 10nl so they play TPDK like the nuts and there is 8 combos of KQ, and another 8 of JQ, which you are ahead of both. I'm playing for stacks here, raising/shoving the turn.

Hand 2:
Imo, this is either a shove or fold. I would shove here because you have already put in 1/4 of what you have to call here. so it's another 15bb for the pot of over 30bb so your getting 2:1 on your call, and your more than 33% to win here.

Hopefully none of my math is totally off, as I'm just getting a feel for putting it into action.
