Given the preflop action, 33 makes sense, but A4 wouldn't surprise me either.

You were getting 3 to 1 on your money on the river. Thats pretty enticing. When I'm getting those kind of odds, I typically call w/ overpair.

Personally, I dont think the call was the problem. You bet 40% of a full buy in on the river on a hand that wasn't that strong. It looks like you were trying to protect your hand, but that doesnt accomplish that. If he is stronger, he raises you all in, if he is weaker he folds.

Personally, I would have bet about 25 on the river, then called a minimum reraise, but folded to an all in.
