My read on this guy is he is very loose preflop (playing anything from Axo and Kxo and QJo even cold-calling with these hands). He is a very weak player, would never raise preflop, and very passive post flop.

What should I have done?

Send a message via Skype™ to bode
 raise to $0.50 preflop since there is a limper. Lead out this flop for like 2/3 pot, especially when there are 2 suited cards. Since your read on villain is that he is passive postflop, just value bet him (1/2-2/3 pot) on each street.

This is your mistake, if you bet here there probably isnt enough left on later streets for you to fold.

In all honesty the hand could have ended on the flop. When you flop top-set you need to work out how you are going to get all the money into the pot. Here, you don't even need a raise throughout the hand. It is pretty fluent to get all the money in and before villain knows it, he's getting 3:1 on his river call with normally a 2pr or AK/AJ type hand.
