Hey everyone, I would appreicate any comments on the betting moves I made. Sorry about the HH, but I can't figure out the converter for the life of me! Thanks in advance.

My reads: I am basically a beginner, but this table seemed to suck all around. Seemed like everyone wanted to see the Flop on every hand.

Hand 1: everyone limped which seemd to me to mean complete weakness. I figured with no one moving, I didn't have to fear an A/Q. Stupid?? I checked on the Turn, hoping to check-raise. Bad move? Should I have just bet out? Results in white.

Hand 2: I really didn't know what to do here. I was 4 to a flush, with limpers, but with 3 overs to beat for the nut hand, it seemed like a bad play. What is your play here? Results in white.

Of course I hit the flush on the turn and would have won. Any thoughts here? Is this a good laydown? Should I have even called Pre-flop?

Hand 1 is a group 5 hand according the the FTR charts, and I limped from early position and caught a piece of the flop. So you are saying you fold QJ from early every time?

Hand 2, fair enough, its shit, but at that table I figured wtf.

Just about every time. If they are suited i'll try a limp if the table has been really passive pre flop and letting a lot of hands see the flop for cheap.

If you try to limp it too often, you are going to be forced to fold more times than the times that you actually connect with the flop pays you.

Even if you connect with the flop, the hand is still in jeopardy because you are out of position. You are out of position here, you make some very aggressive raises and get called by a whacko and luck out that he was dumb enough to pay you with TP no kicker.

Trying to limp 75% of hands to the flop because you have the mindset "Well if only i catch two pair or a lucky full house, think of the stacks of chips they will hand over to me! No one expects the rag rag offsuit to win!" is going to cost you money because that happens so rarely, all the attempts you make at seeing flops cost more than the one time you get paid makes up for.

That is a good attitude for playing Madden video games when you are at your own 20 yard line on 4th down and go for a fake punt instead of a real one...Dumb move, but you figure wtf. Don't try it in poker.
