I'm serious... the last few days it seems like every time I have a hard decision, I make the wrong one, every time I make the right decision I get sucked out on, and villains always have the top of their range every time I decide to put money in.
Three days in a row of this and I'm noticing serious tilt... I guess take a day off tomorrow?
What do you guys do to get off tilt?

you probably played too many hands in one session. I remember that I felt exhausted, went on tilt and donked away 3-4 buy-ins immediately after around 10,000 hands in my longest session last month.Just take a few days off and do something else in your daily life.

I don't tilt while I'm playing.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

ldo - if you're on tilt don't play.
as soon as i notice tilt of any type I stop - unless (last night) I'm sitting on two tables with a 40-7 fish deep on both (700bb and 400bb) and I'm 200+deep as well.
Cliff notes, even then i should stop.

agreed. But playing while tilting is even worse - and, like it or not, some hands or life situations are tilt-inducing for me.

blergh he's talking about below average play not tilting besides what the title says... I mean spoon you're always on about how to maintain your A-game 100% of the time you play, being affected by recent session is a factor in deviating from this and a desire to win money back asap can obviously change your game away from your optimal. Obviously it's all about mental approach and think about the loooonnng term, but just coming in here and saying "tilting is for losers" or "I never tilt" isn't exactly helpful. Maybe I should just buy "The Poker Mindset" and live in a cave for a while to clear my mind but atm all I want to do is get to the peak of my graph as soon as possible... I'm sure it's the same for Keilah (sorry for thread hijack).

That used to be it, but now I just don't tilt. It's a conscious choice to tilt, and I simply choose not to.
