twice today i called a lower pair with my over pair and lost. and playing alot of poker i can accept that these things happen.... but please someone tell the poker gods not to rub in a bad beat by letting these guy beat me by drawing a flush....

Unfortunatly the better the play the more bad beats you get as you usually have the best hand so any time you lose is generally a suck out.

Once you realise this is becomes easier to take, I can take a lot of bad beats in one session and don't start tilting until around the 20 mark.

That's when I started getting a little pissed. Runner sessions of bad beats are also heart breaking. I have to take a break when it hits days.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

I think I'm going on a long hiatus. 10 straight finishes on SNGs out of the money, so I decided I'd go back to ring games and got slapped around with flush and open-ended straight draws. The two straight two-outers after depleting the majority of my PP and PS account balances sold me on taking a break for a while.

He is saying there is a lot more posts that are off topic then there are on topic so basically there is more noise (posts) then signal (helpfulness) I think?
