Villain seems TAG from the 100 or so hands ive seen. Slightly on the loose side but not by much. Bet/fold this river?

This is a tough spot because if opponent has a flush then this play makes sense [a call on the turn and raise on the river]. If you check this turn you are inviting a hand to bluff so I dont know how much I would like checking, I think bet/fold would be a good line here, Id like to see some other opinions and thought processes though.

you are good almost every time but yeah bet/fold is definitely appropriate
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

I bet 40 and then he minraised.

Is that still a fold?

I'd have played it like you did I think. Ofcourse in practice depends on the reads and such, but in general like this. I'd fold to a respectable raise, ofcourse take the minraise.

Another approach I like, is to check/call the river if he doesn't bet anything too excessive.

Yes. Your hand isn't very strong against a raise. You have to be good like 20% of the time to call the min-raise, I'd estimate that you're good here less than 5% of the time.

If you've seen him min-raising as a bluff before, you can call.
