Hey folks...this was a hand from last night that I am not sure if I should have gotten away from earlier, or if it was a good fold. Salty_bry was really loose w preflop standards, not just limping, but raising pretty much any two, then would pretty much always bet out top pr shit kicker. Hence the reason I called his preflop raise, then nicely hitting the set. Not sure I should have done more than minraised the flop as it pretty much would have pot committed me. Sure, after the turn he hit runner straight and flush, so I'm glad I was able to get away from his AI...was this played OK? Comments?

pot commiting myself doesnt bother me on that board. He either has KK, QQ (unlucky for you) or you are miles ahead of him and hes losing his stack. If he raises any 2 then he sure as hell is going to raise KK, QQ so i think you are pretty much 100% winning here. Im happy to reraise huge on that flop. maybe even all-in if i think he calls with AcKx or AcQc or KQ or some other likely hand like that.
If he folds so be it. If he calls with a draw / 2 pair which i expect he will the way you describe him, then good for you and i hope you dont get outdrawn

Bet higher on the flop with a draw heavy board - maybe even push if you think they will call. Same with the turn. He shouldn't call the bets as it is, but you have to make the odds overwhelmingly lopsided if you are concerned you will be outdrawn.
