The fact that he came out raising lead me to beleive he was chasing a straight and hit with 89, i decided to call just for the possibilty of something pairing up on the river, but I still have a few doubts :/
I just have this thing of not getting to attached to "nothing pots" where there is no preflop raise but it was a difficult.

His bet sure seems to indicate the T helped him alot and given the draws, he has to bet there. So yea, I think your read has merit. He may have also been nursing 7T or 6T from the BB, tough call.

It's real, everytime I have a losing session at poker I go to the gym to work out my frustrations.

<---- This is the result...

Alright, I'm tired and grumpy.

But are you serious?!

preflop: fine.

Flop: What is this? weak bet, call, call AND YOU DO A POT BUILDING DOLLAR RAISE?! You're getting no information with this play and you're just digging yourself into deep shit becuase any of the following cards put you in a bad spot.

Your raise got you no information it, it gave you no pot control and your hand is so weak it can't stand to give any cheap cards. All it did was give you lead in the pot but you hand has little value after the flop.

Turn: Your gin card and you're afraid you're beat? op only has 7 bucks behind on this bet and you now have a house redraw. AI calling just give op a chance to scare you away on the river...

River: op scares you away.

Just fold preflop...

Maybe I shouldnt post when I'm so grumpy.

Greedo017 is on a distinguished road
i think what rilla was trying to say, is TT on an all unders board is a deceptively weak hand if you go to the river, because there is no good card that can come. It needs to be play super fast on the flop if you think you're ahead or let go of. you got your m0ney turn card: i'm pushing right there.

Pot it on the flop, re-raise the turn, DONT fold the river!
