1) so i the call preflop is okay or should I have folded there

2) say the preflop call was OK, then i should check/fold on the flop ?

for #2 the reason i asked is I didnt quite follow your incomplete sentence.

yes i can understand that AJs or AJ might not fair well in general against a re-raise preflop, so does that mean I should fold, and if not why should i call ?

AJ is a really gay hand when you have to call a reraise preflop. dont call, you fold.
