I don't think you're getting the correct implied odds to call that raise on the first hand. The second hand is sweet.
I would also agree there is no reason to be so aggressive with a set and no flush draw on the board. Both worked out, but against better opponents you would get a larger pot by just calling and then pushing on the turn or the river.
Of course, if these guys always play this poorly, you should just keep doing what you are doing.

I flopped four of a kind sevens yesterday and the day before. Both times two eights were on the board and a straight flush draw so I actually didn't have the nuts. Both times I doubled up against 8's full though.

first one, your implied odds were questionable, but with so many callers i think you're fine.
and, i would bet the absolute nuts with players like these. i think people overrate the idea of check/calling to get more money in. betting gets money in, not check/calling. true, with a flop like that, i'm sure that absolutely nobody hit, but i find people are more willing to go all-in on the flop with ace high than on the river. check/calling leads to no money going in on the flop and turn, then you gotta push the river and they fold. only time i'd do that is if the board was draw heavy, like i had jacks and it came JJQ, two suited. then i'd probably give it a try.

You obviously call all raises when you're going to flop quads. Duh.

$5 into a $23 pot with 4 others in the hand. Easy implied odds. You only need them to each call a $5 bet when you hit, or to have one of them call your stack. Not unlikely with preflop raises this big. I like the call preflop call. The minraise on the flop was probably alright, though I typically would like to let overly aggressive players do all the betting for me on these hands (at least on the flop).
Likewise, I think typically you could have lowered your profits with the way you played the second hand. With these guys it worked out though, so that's nice

Seems borderline to me:
Calling $5 into a $23 pot leaves him with $17.65 left. If someone calls off the rest of his stack, he gets paid $40.65 on that $5 or 8.13-to-1. While this is above the odds of hitting his set, I don't think this is quite enough to make it profitable when hitting his set and losing (to an overset, flush, straight, whatever).
In this hand, he actually only made $39.25 because of the rake.
I would like more cushion here, unless I know I'm going to flop quads.
