Results in white below:
Hero has Jh Jc (one pair, jacks).
BB has 9c 2d (one pair, twos).

Do I bet the river more? I'd call it more of a blocking bet than a value bet.

$3 into a $21 pot... I dunno if this is what gets me into trouble, but I would've hammered that hard.
I probably would've re-raised the flop as well. Not too sure about the river bet; my blocking bets never seem to work so I'm still experimenting with bet sizes there...

Yeah, I played it uber passively but jesus those miniraises always scare me. I hate reraising them because the fish love to do that crap with a good/nut hand...hence why I didn't reraise the turn
I know this is a leak in my game, but I always fall short of what to do when I get miniraised in situations like that

many ways to play it.
You can raise the flop, but we want him to stay so id call. Id call tht turn and bigger bet the river. I think he has nothing more than a pair at any point, he just thinks you missed the flop because no face cards. Either that or consider raising the turn. I like cold calling the flop here because opp thinks you have nothing.

If this were a full table, I don't hate a check/call line, but since it's 6-max, I would play JJ here very aggressively. Flop line is okay, I think calling the minraise and reraising are both fine. On the turn however, is where you missed value. I would check-raise his $3 bet to about $12-15, and push a harmless looking river card. In 6-max I don't mind going broke with an overpair, especaially since Stars 50NL 6-max is full of short stacked idiot calling stations.
