today i played 1-2NL 5 hours in my local casino. The game was fucking soooo soft that at least 5 ppl limped in and saw the flop like its their job in every single hand. I got dealt cold cards for almost the whole afternoon but still managed to win $75 (only AQ twice, QQ JJ once) I guess i really missed lots of goldmine opportunities and folded too much preflop .Yeah, i did use my positions to pwn some weak donks postflop a few times but didnt win any big pots whatsoever. Also, ppl were not scared to pay $15 more to see the flop whenever you raised something preflop and tried to steal the pot. If i didnt fold so many junk sooted cards, i 'd make more than 4 buy-ins cuz i did hit some weak flush, weak straight and weird flopped two pairs and my opponents were just too bad, always overvalued any top pair hands, always led out tiny bet with shit in multiway pots and fucking paid off huge like cash machines.
Do you guys advocate limping in a lot with speculative cards in late positions instead of raising for isolation ? I was amazed to see some loose limper win total $700 with 23s this afternoon. Crap, i probably played too much online tight aggressive poker lately and forgot to apply much lower preflop/postflop standards to live games.

Go back, wait for some better cards. If that was my local casino I'd live there.

I prefer to limp in with suited crap in late position as opposed to raise. Try and show down a bluff early on to build a bad image for when you make it 10x preflop with a big hand later.

Manipulate the crap out of the SPR to make it pretty much whatever you want.

Then shouldn't you want it to be pretty low so you can call with your speculative hands?

One question:
3-4 loose limpers (60-150BB stacks) from ep and mp and you got dealt some broadway cards like AJs, AJo,KQs,KQo,KJs, KJo, QTs, QTo,JTs,JTo on the BT/CO, what do you do with these cards assuming that the game is preflop/postflop passive? One thing i noticed is MOST ppl only 3 bet with AK, KK+(rarely QQ) in these games.
here are a few sort of tough hands i played this afternoon.
hand 1, i raised $15 with 99-JJ ep and got 3 preflop passive callers behind (60-200BB stacks), the flop came out like :Kd: , how much do you guys C-bet into the field if you think you have the best hand in the heat of the moment cuz you know these ppl called too much?
hand 2,a semi-tight weak guy(around 60BB) who got caught bluffing on later streets in a few spots just limped in UTG 2, hero raised $15 with :Qc: :Qs: , he called. The flop came: :Kh: , he checked, hero bet $25 and he shoved all-in , hero?

hand 1: you can cbet the pot and see who sticks around
if the flush doesn't come on the turn, bet the pot again
and check the river regardless because weaktights love calling flat with a pair of kings and small kicker
hand 2: lolfold
