This hand took my BR to it's highest point since I started. My min-raise on the flop was so that I didn't scare anybody away from the pot. Any more money to be had here, or would that just be greedy?

at this point there is about $9 in the pot.. and you make it 4?? slam it up to the full pot. an over pair is not a strong enough hand to hang around building the pot up against multiple opponents, raising 2.. to 4, means they are now calling 2 into a $13 pot.. so they are getting decent odds (counting implied) to catch a 2 pair on you.

renegaderob1 raises [$4].
Evensar calls [$2].
kmac444 calls [$2].
** Dealing Turn ** [ 3h ]
Evensar checks.
kmac444 checks.
renegaderob1 bets [$2]. now theres about $17, and you bet 2?.. AGRESSION. me having raised more at the flop, I then would be AI at this point
Evensar calls [$2].

and the last thing, raising less gives you less information.. if you raise to 9 or 10 on the flop.. and they put you AI, then they have a big hand, if they put the raise to 4 all in.. then you have a harder decision.. try to avoid hard decisions.
villain goes AI

even if a bigger raise does scare them out.. then you've won $7 without any difficulty.. i'd be happy with that. Also remembering that this is 25NL.. do they get scared? ever??

I see what you mean. Thanks.

As to them being scared off, I have found that a lot of the time people are scared away if I bet big after I do the prf raising... maybe the tables I'm playing on are just tighter?

yes, quite possible.. pay attention to the stats of the tables before sitting down.. high % of players per flop, and a high average pot are tables that should see you getting paid off more.

I agree with RICH here. Overpairs are strong to the flop type hands. You want most of your equity on the front end, because you're going to blow it out before the turn or river. That's the proper way to play them.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
