If I'm playing me, I don't think I hold on to that hand. Then again, there are a few times where my PP is goot and i ended up folding the best hand. Like I really hate it when my PP is good but I fold to 2 people going at it to just find out they both had lower PP's than me? Does that make sense, I was so baffled by the river with this hand that I checked it down expecting to lose to Kings, did I not play this right?

I guess he thought his flush draw on the turn was live. I wouldn't say either play was particluarly bad, I wouldn't have invested that much with either hand on that board but this wasn't terrible by you or him.

Note that this guy is a calling station and start value betting him to death in future hands.

you didnt raise enough on the flop to make me throw nines, especially with backdoor straight and flush draws to see the turn.

he picks up outs on the turn, you make a weak play, and then dont force him into a decision on the river.

i hate the whole hand, but the recurring theme is betting/ raising amounts that are too small. if you dont have the read or courage to make a meaningful bluff, then its probably best to just give up on the hand (as you did on the river, because hes definitely calling another $2)

either hes a calling station, OR, hes got a read on you that you make continuation bets with unimproved starters.

Prf: I normally raise it to at least $1 (4xBB) - raising less is inviting more callers and you really just want to be HU with a hand like AQ. Prf raising standards can change though dependant on what kind of table you are sitting at.

Flop: I probably reraise here too. His minbet shows weakness (though it could also be someone trying to trap with a monster) and you have been showing strenght by raising prf. But reraise it more to like $1.5 (or even more) - he could be minbetting the flop with air and calling your weak reraise with air. My point is your flop reraise from 0.25 to 1 has very little folding equity.

Turn: I think I check behind here because of two reasons: 1) My first bluff on the bluff didnt work, and firing 2nd barrels at the calling stations at NL 25 can be very expensive. This can change with a read though. 2) Fish loves to minbet their draws, theres a chance he minbet his flushdraw on the flop and caught it on the turn (and of course whenever fish catch a monster they slowplay).

River: without a read I check behind here too. No need to waste more money on bluffs when opp seems to be a calling station.

Because getting someone to fold any pair in 6 max is often an uphill battle.

After it's clear he doesn't want to fold on the flop, I would just suck it up and check the turn. Although, some guys just really want to see one more card...
