Good play? I thought a 9xBB raise would fold more people, but apparently not...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) converter

MP1 ($4.75)
MP2 ($21.10)
CO ($10.15)
Button ($8.80)
Hero ($10.50)
BB ($4)
UTG ($5.20)
UTG+1 ($4.30)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, K. MP1 posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.10, UTG+1 calls $0.10, MP1 (poster) checks, MP2 calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, Button calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.9, BB calls $0.80, UTG calls $0.80, UTG+1 calls $0.80, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button folds.

I only bet 2 dollars because they didn't have much money left, so if they called that bet they would be pot committed. Who would call an all in? KQ? KJ? I feel like the only hands that would call that would beat me. But then again they reraised me all in and I had to call anyways, so I suppose it doesn't matter. I don't know where i'm going with this...

Stupid people that play at .5/.10 that are on a draw or have top pair medium kicker or something similar.
