Villain here is tight aggressive. Not sure if he bluffs a lot or not.
River bet is basically a blocking bet...I didnt want to check.

It sucks but if they are a tight player you got to fold this one. I cant see any hand that your beating except a bluff. This is unlikely given the strength you have shown and the scary board. My moneys on KJ.

Your read will decide which.

Unless it's a pure bluff, at best yr splitting with another Kx hand. Fold with no read. Annoying hand though, back in my 10nl days i woulda probably called this out of sheer frustration lol.

Just noticed you said the villain was a TAG. He open limped so not too many hands make sense here if he is truly tight aggressive, KJ, KQ maybe, or a slowplaying AK, AA, KK. If he is a TAG why is he calling you down unless he is trapping? I can't see him playing Ax like this.

I labeled him as a Tag...He was very tight. I never saw his cards once, for about 5 orbits. Every hand he won he won without a showdown. He usually raised PF.

I did fold after some thought, really angered me though.

An itriguing hand to say the least. The real problem here is that I think a lot of time you will split the pot with say KT or maybe even something like a K9s. Think about this, you labeled him as a TAgg yourself and that being said I think there are three alternative plays he could make here.

1: He has nothing. The odds for a stone cold bluff in this spot is quite slim since he is a supposed to be tight. If there would have been a drawheavy flop then this could have been a more legitimate alternative, but given the texture of the flop this just isn't likely. You cant rule out the bluffing part entirely but lets just conclude that the chances are really slim.

2: He has a king with a "no-kicker". This is what I first and foremost believe he has. He has something like a King-Ten and suspects you maybe have a king with a "no-kicker" as well. I can see him making this kind of kove on you, its a good strong play, sorta of like an "semi-bluff" as he figures he has good chances of splitting the pot if being called. Don't forget the fact that he may see you as a strong player as well and that being the case he may think you will be able to lay a strong holding down here.

3: He is making another type of play on you, making his bet look like a bluff. This alternative is still quite likely, certainly more likely than Option 1 but still less likely that Option 2 imho. His most probable holding in this case is KJ although something like AK or JJ is still possible (but not likely since he was limping). Also, KQ is a somewhat reasonable holding.

My conclusion is that that Option 2 is the most likely scenario, and adding the pot odds on you have on your call I actually think I would call this one down. Cant blame you for folding though, and w/o "reads" this call becomes much much tougher to make.

I wouldn't be suprised if this is QT or JJ. There's no reason for him to bluff this hand. I'd say at best you split.
