I like hand 2, but I raise that on the button in an unraised pot. I think villain is on a flush draw on the flop.

hand one, looks to me like flop bet is a little weak. I bet at least $2 on the flop and more likely pot it, and then the turn scares the heck out of me. I would probably try to rep it (and end up losing more in the process)...I think you are beat, but you didn't charge him nearly enough to draw to it.

1 - Higher pf raise.... Flop bet is weak as hell. Betting small like this accomplishes nothing.

2 - Eh, I guess at 25nl you can hope JX calls you here... there is nothing else you can really hope for betting this river.

Hand 1 I raise to $1.25 preflop and bet 2/3 pot on the flop. I bet 1/2 - 2/3 on the turn and check-behind on the river.
I would probably suck it up and call a reasonable river bet if he led, owise I'm dumping and grumpy unless he's shown a propensity to fake draws and bluff when they hit.
Most made non-nut flushes would lead the turn.
You're probably ahead here but it's a river call not reraise.

Hand 2 - fine. Could bet the turn and check-behind on the river - small pot, not a great hand. S'ok.

your sig really bothers me.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

I was actually about to PM you last night, I was to your right at this table [AKBaldacci] and saw that hand where your aces got cracked. I was sitting next to jstrom for a few hours just trying to stack him, guy was 83/50ish after 200 hands and was the definition of a calling station, hed call with literally anything and defintiely with any draw. With my read I dont think checking behind on the turn would be bad, and you really cant fold that river. I also think you should have raised more pf and bet the flop harder.

Hand 2 seems fine.
