OK, here's one hand I was involved in earlier today. Critique this play - I figured I was pretty much dead but since he checked to me on the Turn, I had a chance to see another card.
BTW, he seemed pretty pissed about that last J....but in my opinion, he checked on the Turn..any re-raise or bet on the Turn and I probably would have folded.
Any comments, criticism welcome...thanks.

I like the aggression here, but I wonder if it's not misplaced. Unless you have a read telling you that his flop-bet was a bluff and/or something that makes you think he'll fold to a relatively small re-raise (given the size of the pot), I don't like this play at all. The only thing you're beating is a bluff, so unless you're confident in that, I fold the flop.
When he calls, you do indeed know you're beat. Checking behind is the only option I see here.
Gotta love that miracle river, but don't let it convince you this play was strong.

I agree, I don't see any reason for coming over top of him such a small amount when you have 2 overs on the board and it's very likely one of the other 3 people has a king.
