Here is another hand from that table where I folded AA against MANIAC and SOLID (see topic Folded AA... good move?)
MANIAC and I are equal in chip stack. On PP $50 NL cash game.
I'm dealt AQ, raise to like $2, MANIAC calls. Everyone else folds.
Flop is K,Q,K (no flush draws possible, that I remember). I bet $4, MANIAC calls. River is A. I bet $4, MANIAC calls. River is a rag. I bet $4, MANIAC comes over the top for $15.
I folded. Good move? I had him on a 3rd K.

I think there's no way to tell what he had. He could have been camping on a king-anything hand, or had an ace or queen, or had nothing. If he's a true maniac, it's impossible to tell. I play regularly with a guy who is like that, and it seems like at least half the time when a couple kings or aces hit the board, he's playing king-whatever or ace-whatever, and costs somebody a bunch of money. I don't mess with him any more on those types of hands, because he's too unpredictable. There are better places to make money.
