for some reason...i dont think you had q/q first of all..unless you had been at this table for awhile and had a nice read on this guy...not sure how you could lay this down...guessint its a nl 100 table and hes sitting on $241...therefor looks like a threat...and you have $100 exact guessing you just sat...i think i woulda came over the top all in here...only reason i see a raise from him there is cause he missed the flop...
back looking to make some moolah

Yeah I think you've just thrown some money away. It's not too bad of a fold, but I can't see that raise indicating that strong of a hand.

If I was you I would've raised more pre-flop too. Maybe to $18.

you need to reraise stronger preflop to help you define your opponents hand, but folding this is pretty dumb

i know this won't seem right but he is sitting at big stack at the table.. if u just came in i would think hes trying to set an example to u and thats ur time to come over the top all IF THATS UR FIRST HAND .. then again if it isn't i would consider him playing lesser hands such as 9 7 suited and catching 2 pair then i would be more careful.. but i would agree with a stronger pre flop raise but no u played it well conservative which is always good in this situation.. good fold given the information

You min re-raised preflop, he could have a variety of hands. I think you're ahead most of the time here, seems like he raised because rags fell. Re-raise him more to see if he really has a hand. He could easily be holding 9-8, thinking you missed the flop and that his 9 is good.

I agree with the above posters. You've got QQ, so get put in a much larger reraise preflop.

I wouldn't have folded, either. If he had AA or KK, why didn't he reraise you PF? The only thing I can think he might have is 99, TT or JJ. 99 is scary, but the other two are delicious.

I think it's more likely 77/99 then AA/KK with that PF action. Could also be JJ/TT/AKs. With his stack for all you know it could be 97s or A9 or a complete bluff. Flip a coin, I wouldn't fell confident either way you go.
