whats up with that flop bet anyway? I mean I know you are trying to disguise the strength of your hand on such a dry board, and getting sucked out always results in good stories, especially to friends.......

I raise more preflop, 4-5xBB and raise flop bigger, close to pot size. As played, good fold.

I would call this board anything but dry. 2 diamonds plus all kinds of straight draws.

Weak preflop bet from UTG. Once one player calls, this gives everyone ahead of him better odds to call, resulting in a 4-way flop including a Q9diamons.

Weak flop bet - bet the pot instead to eliminate draws (I undstand the drawer in this hand raised the raise on the flop.... ignore him).

Good fold. Usually when someone bets at a pot, the you raise, then someone different re-raises... one of the two have better than one pair. Oddly enough, it was the opening bettor who had the best hand.
