Should I have reraised his raise on the flop? Anything wrong with how I played this? I didn't want to scare him out of the hand but I wanted to get all his money by the river.

Re-raise all-in on the flop, he's not folding after that flop raise.
Stop worring about people folding when you have a hand. Particularly, when thier biggest mistake is calling too much. It also makes it easier to push as a (semi)bluff when they know you'd push with the goods too.

Agreed. I'm assuming the other plan is to go all-in on the turn. A player is probably less likely to call a sudden all-in on the turn since it looks as though you were slow-playing something big on the flop. Also, your opponent seems very confident in his hand on the flop, so why risk having a scare card come on the turn which may cause him/her to lose confidence? Suppose another spade comes, then what do you do? If your opponent has the flush, you're beaten, and if he doesn't, he's unlikely to commit much more to the pot when you show strength.

He isn't folding the turn either, but I like your hand on the flop so you may as well get your money in now.
