thoughts on uber flop agression? Just sat down a bit ago. There's too many turn cards that either kill my action or beat me, but I'm concerned that with my line, only hands that have me smoked are giving me action. can I not be worried about that with the pot, board, my position etc?

i might just call his flop raise, any J Q or T is golden. and the turn gives you more outs. with this many people you have to think your up against AK, but your still around 30% for teh fh

I'd be happy with a Q or J, but the oft-played hands like QJ/JT/QT would then have me smoked.
If you just call the raise, what's your plan if one of the 16 cards that put a 4-straight on the board comes up on the turn?
Also, while the turn does bring more outs against an AK, I think you are kind of misled there, because if you are going to get your money in against a made-straight, you would much prefer to do it on the flop as opposed to the turn.

What's your plan after that? I assume that is with the intention of pulling a c/r, and perhaps you can get a lot of dead money in the pot from random 4-straight and 2pr hands, but don't you think that shows the strength of your hand too quickly and allows worse hands to get away cheaply? Also, what's your plan if it checks through, and one of those 16 4-straight cards hits the turn?
This is a spot where I don't mind taking the pot down quickly with a set, and if a lot of money goes into the pot (which I'm also usually fine with), I want it to be on the flop. Pulling a c/r and putting a significant portion of my stack in the pot only to see an 8, 9, K, or A really puts me in an awkward spot at best.

Sure you have a set, but you need to consider what the other guy has. If MP1 is only raising premiums, you're in trouble against the AK/JJ+ range. So MP1's PFR is a big part of where you think you are here.
Funny flop. I'd check to see what other people think, maybe get a 3rd guy to help cover your pot odds if you're behind.

I like it. I don't always play sets like this (obv), but I think it's great to change it up every now and then. I think your line has the best chance of stacking AA/KK. If you play draws like this, then KQ/KJ is easily in your hand range. There are a lot of turn cards that could easily kill either your action or villians action.

What were the results?
Here's almost an identical hand that went down for me. My flop line could be anything from a big draw to set to 2-pair to straight. There was about a bazillion turn cards that either him or myself didn't want to come out. Sucks that he had A K .

Boards look similar, however TT has A LOT more equity on that board.
