Raise on the flop. Alot. Slowplaying small sets is no good.

Slow-playing any set usually doesn't make much sense.

Well, the outcome was pretty much just bad luck - but you could have possibly taken this pot down, and also made more money in the long run, by playing this differently.

- raise (at least min-raise) the flop
- bet bigger on the turn; you have the full but you're showing trip jacks. If he has a jack he'll raise you, if he doesn't he'll probably fold here.

Don't slowplay little sets... bad idea, makes you less money, costs you more pots.

I agree with most of what dale is saying here. However, in this case I don't think QQ is going anywhere. A large flop raise might make him think about folding the turn when the second J hit but you would be surprised how attached people get to TT-AA even when it is fairly obvious that they are beaten. Not easy to make those hands fold unless you are up against an aware player.

he wasn't folding no matter what, except maybe on the turn but thats unlikely, when you flop a set or turn a boat you shouldnt be trying to get people out of the hand and take it down right then, you just got unlucky
