ok, in both hands villain is one of those weak-standard 13-8 types who will think about what cards I might have. Obviously I have a flush draw/set here, right? Thoughts?

Hand 1 I don't really like. You aren't going to get much credit for flushes unless you have pretty loose-ish stats, and villain has tptk, two pair, QQ and AA too much. I would rather raise the flop if I wanted to bully opp of this hand, but I think there are better boards for that.

Hand 2 whaaaa? Preflop? Open limp from MP? I'm pretty sure you are never going to get credit for a set after you just flat his flop bet so if you plan was to bet/raise any club turn and fold all else then the plan is no good. You have got ~6 outs but they're all fairly lame outs, I would rather do this with a hand like AK but again I would do it by raising the flop so you can rep a wider range.

Sklansky LOVES limping pps instead of raising because he doesn't like the idea of calling 3-bets 100BB deep.

and 50nl full ring games are so loose and aggresive that that is a common scenario? What?

hand 1 nope. The Ac is out so what FDs are in your range?
hand 2 I also hate the open limp, he's calling with strong kings and NFDs but I don't hate the bet. Raise flop please.

Listen to the Internet, not Sklanksy. We say raise/fold preflop.
