I posted these in my OP, but no one seems to answer them much there so i'm puting them here also.
I'd appreciate it if someone could walk me through a few hands and let me know what they would be thinking/looking for. I'm a noob and need to learn how to think through a hand and figure out peoples ranges.
Sorry if some of these are dumb questions.

#1.
I figure if he has A A he re-raises pre flop and theres a good chance he has A J. If he flopped a set of Jacks, would he really push all in?? He might if he thinks i have a flush draw,
or maybe he puts me on AJ and thinks i will fold??
How good/bad of a call is this????

#2.

River: ($0.79) (2 players)
BB bets $0.3, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $1.09

Results in white below:
BB doesn't show.
Outcome: BB wins $0.79.

How should i play a hand liks :As: :Qd: pre flop out of position??

Hand 1 is a standard call - lots of Jx,flush draws and other crap in his range here. No need to fear a set

Hand 2 is OK, not crazy about the flop bet against really loose players, but I guess we likely have six outs so its not too bad. Rest is fine.

AQo out of position I would generally fold to a tight raiser - your not giving up too much value and its keeps you out of trouble. I 3 bet against a loose raiser tho. Calling puts us in tough spots OOP with lots of money still behind. In limped pots I used to check alot from the blinds since Im not a huge fan of building big pots OOP with AQ, but raising is probably better especially against 2nl 'tards.

Hand 1 is a standard call at this level probably. He either has a set, TPTK, TPGK or flush draw. How was villian playing in previous hands? This is how you can tell what he mostly has.

Hand 2 - Played fine, cbet turn, c/f river

AQ in 6 max is always a raise for me in whatever position. Be careful with reraising it though because you may run into AK. I typically will reraise though with position against the weaker players.
Never bet on a white man in the heavyweight division!

Hand 2 is super standard.

Hand 1 really depends what you think of him, I would probably just call his turn minbet and try to hit my flush or showdown cheap, but if the guy is really awful then its fine.
