I already know that my mistake was opening too small on the turn... For whatever reason, i had already assumed that the blind was in with trips and I was working on the side pot (Thus the half side-pot bet as well as deliberately putting the blind in on the flop). I feared that UTG would fold to a large/AI raise, leaving me with squat.
Most of my hands have been heads up without such a suspicious board, so any and all advice is welcome here.

Sometimes I'll go a whole day without quads.

STOP MINIRERAISING!!! <~~that goes for the flop to. Call the turn. Also, we have no idea how much you have to call on the turn. At least leave the important stacks when you erase all the stacks.

Thx all,
I actually should have tossed the stakk at 'em.
the blind was holding a desperate pair of 4's and the pressure came from a pair of Jacks.
... It was mine all along.
That hand bugged me the rest of that session so I quit to get my head straight, good to get some feedback on it.

i go broke even on the turn here i think. i don't think an utg raiser has a 5 in his hand very often at all, and i expect to see a worse overpair a whole bunch ( i don't think AA just flat calls 3bet vs. 2 players preflop very often either).

The flop bet size is fine.
The turn bet is absurd unless you're provoking him to do this, in which case you insta-call.
