Villain is 14/10, with a 2.5% 3bet. I have no relevant notes. The SB was a weak player so I decided to make a slightly loose open from MP with 97s. I believe villain will 3bet me preflop with KK+ the vast majority of the time, and QQ most of the time. I'm lost on the turn, do we bet again, and if we do are we intending on shoving blank rivers? Or is the turn simply a c/f?

I think a 14/10 won't even call with AQo pre in that spot every time, and if he has a 3b range at all, I think this is such an obvious barrellin spot... If you bet like 45 you need hardly any fold equity to make this profitable, and you have tons of FE imo... unless he has like 80% fold to c-bet over a significant sample.

ya if he folds everything but AhKh, AQs, JJ-QQ, 44 = 9 combos. and folds 66-TT = 30 combos. it's pretty obvious 2barrel. even if he'c calling pre with AXs and continuing with AhXh and A4s (9 combos) it's still profitable.

He has AQ+ mostly, i'd xf. I'm guessing this hand is here because he ended up showing JhTh or something? That'll be pretty rare and not usually worth a third barrel imo.

Interested in this. I keep thinking that it's a double barrel then c/f on the river. Can you explain please?

I think in this spot it's a c/f.
I'm struggling to put a number on the times he has like Ax or Kx with a FD, or something he was going to float, and then picked up a straight draw or 2nd pair. I think in some similar situations it can be right to gaybet the river... In this one I wouldn't, but I couldn't tell you why... It's a feel thing for me cuz maff is hard.
