i was more concerned with how i played my big hand there. theres what like $50 to start the pot? i felt me betting the flop would be super transparent. On the turn I don't want to blow out flush draws or medium aces

Leading the flop small ($20) may not be transparent and one of the cold callers can easily have a Queen here. I wouldn't bet here though because Derf is going to bet a very large % of the time. Having this flop check through isn't a disaster though, the only draw is JT and you only have to bet 2 streets to get your stack in.

I don't think so. They're not getting direct odds but may be getting implied odds depending on the card and how the action goes.

As for bet sizing I think it's pretty poor. I'd bet $30 on the turn and $60(all in) on the river. I don't think Derf is going to stack off very often with AK against these bets though, but I take that chance.

another thought on the hand, I think you're ahead - AA won't be checking this flop
