A check on both hands IMO is the right play. Check-fold/Check-call just fine with me.

Hand1. 3 hearts worries me. He had pot odds on your flopbet
Hand2. the board paired.

jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
hand 1:
I'd raise a bit more on the flop with that flush draw out. Around $20-$22. But I don't think your bet is too bad either. You don't want to scare him too much with what seems to be a great flop there. And I think he paid too much preflop to consider him holding a pp that might have hit a set.

But the turn scares me.. your bet is good, but I'm thinking what he could have to call you there. He obviously has something.. but what? AA/KK got you beat. Calling the flop, ok maybe he thought c-bet or something, but calling the turn.. he'd have to have KQ? Or maybe he has AK of his own. I'd check/fold or check/call if it's not too high. But I don't like that raise really.. seems like you'd be lucky to tie here.

hand2:
I'd be a little worried about QJ maybe, but I think you did the right things on this one. I think he has KQ here.
