Should my flop bet have been bigger? I just figured smaller non set pairs would fold to $15 as soon as $25, and flush draws were calling regardless of my bet size. When both opponents called, i assumed it was time for my aces to shut down. But, the price i was getting to see the river was smaller, and with LP villian just calling turn i figured he was on the FD. Wasn't sure what other player had after he flat called flop and weak lead turn. Basically, even though i probably put $40 more in on river if flush draw doesn't complete, is this a call or an easy fold?

i am starting to feel stupid as i look at this; a raise looks like it would have been the best play, probably like $70. Do you think a set would lead so weak on the turn with so many draws on the board?

Flop bet should have been a bit bigger. Also, a raise on the turn is probably the route I take you can't fold to just a $15 bet. You either flat call and then check/call the river or you push it all-in or close to it.

I will continue to post A-A misplays in this thread. Obviously c-bet flop... but i want to know if i push/ fold this turn to an unknown. Shouldn't K-K reraise pf? What does this turn bet mean? Or do i just not WANT to believe he has that boat?

All day i seemed to mismanage my big pairs. This one is K-K and i just posted. Should i try something bold like a massive reraise preflop. EIther way i know a raise was proper, but i flat called. It was bad... anyways to the flop; you know what i just butchered this hand. Read it and laugh.

1st Aces hand: The first hand, I'm firing out a VERY strong flop bet, at least $25.
If you still get two callers, you can potentially slow down on the turn. You should definitely
lead the turn again. If you get a lot of resistance, when you can re-evaluate

2nd Aces hand: Good re-raise preflop. Why are you checking the flop? Why are you checking the
turn? Ofcourse villain will bet on the turn when you've shown so much weakness and checked the
flop and turn. His turn bet means nothing, given the way you played postflop.
Bet $35-40 on the flop. Stats on villain would help to know what his range is.

3rd hand with Kings:

I think this is your problem. I don't think re-raising with kings here is "bold".. I'd more consider it standard/necessary. Do you really want to play pocket kings in a 5-way pot?

Re-raise preflop, and it will make your postflop play much easier.

thanks for the replies. Basically that was the worst day of poker i can remember playing. I made terrible plays consistently. Somehow i only lost a $100 that day. With the Kings on the 3rd hand i really don't know what i was thinking just calling PF (by "bold" reraise i was thinking like AI since it was my first hand at the table). A really, really bad day of poker. Not sure why i played so poorly, but on the $1/$2 A-A hand i figured the only hands that villian would call my PF raise with were K-K, Q-Q, and A-K. The paranoid person i was, i automatically put him on K-K (of course he had K-K, and i lost). Yeah i definitely played terrible; mostly i was looking to get some criticism and embarrass myself into not playing this way ever again.
