lol, this is why you lead that flop. AK didn't even raise that river. But you can induce much pricier bluffs than 3.5 just by betting.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

I don't get the "prolly". an A is pretty much the best card ever for us.

yeah it does, he's betting w/ a strong range into two players and there aren't that many top pair hands left seeing as we has 3 Qs. However I like b/3b on the flop cos we can get it in as a significant favourite vs. draws which makes up for the value of slowplaying but I still wouldn't expect a flop bet to be called very often since our betting range is very strong here.

Both villains have (very) high postflop aggression factor. The one that isn't spoon is just a bad player altogether. So I figured I could rely on someone other than me to take the lead.
Guess I was wrong.

Bet the $(*&^ turn. Soooo many hands will call there and if people weren't such pussies you might even induce a bluff raise.

With opponents hands turned face up, I'm just giving what I'd be thinking during the hand at hand. Yah, an ace smashes their range, but 2 barreling can scare away some prissy fellows even if they smash a big pair. I'd still prolly bet unless I feel like more value would get dumped to me by letting them bet or showing them that I'm not scary.

If you bet the flop, what do you think THEY put you on?
If you check raise the flop what do they put you on?
If you check the flop and bet the turn, what is your range in their eyes?
If you check the flop and check raise the turn, what is your range to them?
I'll spot you some quick answers: A lot and can bluff, a little and can't bluff, a lot and can bluff, a little and can't bluff.

Just raise and bet a lot. Then laugh when they play back. Better yet, act weak, let them stab and raise them. Do this a lot and you'll get paid.

About Fnord's QQQ hand: OOP it'd be just straightforward b/3b, right?

Only if put him on AA/KK/AQ/set and there is a lot of money behind. Otherwise too much of his range is air and weak hands he's playing very strong. Since I didn't have a chance to reload after calling off too much money in a prior hand, it became a very easy call. The turn card commits so much of his range that it's easy to put the rest in.
