I'd like to know how you think I playd this hand, especially on the turn and river. Had no reads on opponents yet. I'll wait to post my thinking in this hand after a few comments.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($9.75)
UTG+1 ($9.90)
MP1 ($13.55)
MP2 ($10)
CO ($10.40)
Button ($1.90)
SB ($10.25)
BB ($7.95)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, K.
Hero raises to $0.4, UTG+1 calls $0.40, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.40, 4 folds.

Flop: ($1.35) 9, 2, Q (3 players)
Hero bets $1.1, UTG+1 calls $1.10, MP2 calls $1.10.

Turn: ($4.65) 7 (3 players)
Hero bets $2.8, UTG+1 calls $2.80, MP2 calls $2.80.

River: ($13.05) K (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $5.6 (All-In), MP2 calls $5.60, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $24.25

The two most obvious draws filled up. You needed a bigger turn bet. Why is the turn bet less in proportion to the pot than the flop bet after you got two flat callers on the turn? Bet $4 on the turn.

The fact there's a flopped straight and flush draw completed and the fact that you'd be overcalling makes me want to fold now despite the attractive odds and the fact it's a 10NL game. I'm so confused by the fact it's 10NL. If it was 50NL+ it is probably an easy fold. Here it's close... the fact it's a stars 10NL game I'll fold. Any other 10NL game and I'd have to say fuck it and call.

bet $4 on the turn, but easy fold on the river.

i dont care what game or what site this is, i fold this river. especially at these stakes villains are chasing their flush and it makes it an even easier fold w/ MP2's call.

Ok, this is what I thought:

The calls of my flop bet made me think I was up against a draw (MP2 gets good odds to call with something like a flush-draw) and possibly a better hand (set, allthough a set should have raised here, right?). So if I bet 4$ on the turn and am behind, then I would surely be called by a better hand, while practically commiting myself with only one pair, which I don't like against 2 opponents. On the other hand, I don't want drawing hands to get a free card... hence a little weird in-between bet (how do you control pot size without letting opps possibly draw cheap?). On the river it was the call by MP 2 that made me eventually fold.

So, on the turn I should just assume my hand is best and go for it with at least a pot-sized bet and not worry about a better hand?

BTW: UTG+1 had a set of nines (weird play right?), MP2 AQo (lol).

I don't fold the river, I'm sorry, these people could easily be 56/0 or 73/44's and they also suck pretty bad and overvalue hands.
Check out the new blog!!!

Preflop: Raise more they'll still call.
Flop: Good.
Turn: Bet more they'll still call.
River: Plays itself.

Okay, you'd be betting into 3 nines, but most of the time you'd be ahead here.
