I know this was stupid on so many levels...but for some reason I thought I had the best hand. Looking back, I could see believing that until the all-in bet, but that was an easy fold, right?

As is becoming common, I'm pissing away my earnings in one-hand moments of idiocy. That put my negative for tonight.

Besides folding the river, what do you guys do differently here? I check-rasied for info, felt like he was chasing, but in the meantime I blew 40 bucks or so without gaining any information (just mis-information).

Also, I forgot to mention, I usually don't raise JJ preflop, but I got this great idea in my head about "oh, this is shorthanded (only a few guys were there). FTR says RAISE THIS BIZNATCH!" Maybe this is why I get my ass handed to me shorthanded.

Lol, apparently there are no obvious comments here that aren't insulting.

You guys will be happy to hear (or maybe you won't, after that bad play I made) that I surged from down after this hand to up $150, which I'm quite proud of since I took a nasty beat (the ever-popular calling-all-in-with-a-flush-draw-on-the-turn-for-twice-the-pot) also, and I ocassionally have tilt problems.

Hit a few sets, that usually does it. Sad thing is I wasn't busting overpairs or anything, just people with top pair and weak kickers. Some sad players out tonight.
