Thoughts about this hand?

I DO know that I should probably get the money in faster (ie, raise flop), but aside from that, is there any point on shoving the river where I know my hand is no good?

I have seen opp fold to strong resistance on a scary bd before...

1st of all, fold preflop

2nd - reraise the flop, make it $16 to go.

3rd - shove the turn.

why on earth did you push on the river? this guy isn't folding.

Hes not folding an overpair at 4:1. The only hand he might have that he might fold is 99. Disgusting push.

A 1/3 pot bet isnt "strong" resistance

 If the guy is folding to resistance on scary boards then implied odds are poor. Fold preflop.
