6+.5 turbo sng at stars. My reads are the guy is semi-aggressive, but prior to this hand I had just bought the last 3-4 pots without showdown. What do you do here?

I would be shocked if he had 65. So you've then got an OESFD to win it. Better than 50% to win. I'm liking the call here either way, unless you're wanting to prolong the process because you think you can beat him through better heads up play.

well, he probably has you beat at the moment - but you easily have the better draw (unless he's semi-bluffing w/ Axd... doubtful, I think).

If you think you're better heads up, probably fold. If you want to get it over with quickly... call.

You're probably a favorite to win this hand though.

Hehehehe. I laughed and probably shouldn't have.

If you call, it's 50/50 you win the hand and the tourny. If he's a better player, easy call. If you're a better player, lean to fold. If you're about even, call.

Well, I ended up calling. Here's my reasoning. I really thought the guy's check-raise AI was more of a frustration play rather than strength. As I said in the beginning, I took down the last 3-4 pots w/o showdown, and I could "sense" the frustration, as weird as that sounds. That being said, I put him on a couple of overs, w/o even a pair, meaning that I had significantly more outs. I had 3 3's, 3 4's, 4 2's, 4 7's, and 7 remaining diamond, totaling to 21 outs if my read was correct, which would acutally make me the favorite. By the way JGB, I was positive he didn't have 65 or any 5 because this guy is the slowplay master. A few hands before he slowplayed his aces all the way to the river and let my 82o hit a boat to double up on him. So I liked my chances and called. He showed K2o, no diamond, but turn and river were blanks and I lost. Well, at least my read was right!
