hello, all poker folks--my first post here although i've been lurking in this forum for a long long time. Very interesting hand from pokerstars.
villain's stats are like :/490/22.4/5.1 and his flop aggression factor is 3.8. I really think i played this too aggressively and got invoveld in some kinda risky business. How do you folks think about it? the way i played this is that i wanted to pretend something and bluff this guy out of the hand.

preflop: dont complete with 93o...
flop: fold, tp 3 kicker doesnt look very good against that action. especially when hands like 1010 are in his range too.

Fold this crap. Just because you can hit a 9 on th eflop doesn't make it ok to play this hand. Your playing from the worst position on the table. If you know his stats you must be running PT or PO. What do they tell you about your SB play?

yeah, i'm running PO on stars 1-2 nl and my Small blind play is profitable anyways . Normally, i wouldn't play this crap OOP and only completed around 30% of the time.
as played, i figured i had some chance to bluff him off on later streets coz i really put him on slowplayed medium pocket pairs 10 10+.
when that guy smooth called my $25 bet on the turn , i knew he didn't really have set or stronger hand.
he folded on the river with my shovle all-in and it's probably the only way to get him off

Either fold or raise preflop. Limping with 9/3o?
Never bet on a white man in the heavyweight division!

pyth you should never raise 93o in the sb with 2 limpers behind you

fold pf, fold to raise on flop. unless you hit 2p in a multiway with 93o you have nothing

let's not get beyond the flop because he hit. Don't complete with hands twice as good as this, with hands like this start hitting the pre select fold options.

woo hoo, i folded 9 x crap in small blind six times later on in the evening.
however, 5 Out of six times, i hit two pairs or even better on the flop!!!!!!!
In general,i played this hand way too aggressively and luckily got rewarded though. No more aggressive betting in this situation though

from what ive heard the flop would be completely different if you had called or even taken .001 more seconds to act. something like its all random as it happens.

so what do you folks think he was holding when he checkrasied minbet on the dry board? it looked like a weak play if he just checked rasied one pair hand though
by the way, that guy folded instantly without thinking twice when i pushed on the river
