the fact that he called your flop bet then bet only $2.00 after you checked the turn smells pretty fishy to me. it seems kinda obvious that he wants action, and minbet hoping you'd go over the top of him since that small of bet is not going to take down the pot bluffing or not.

just my $.02 though...

ChezJ is an unknown quantity at this point
it's not a set if two of them are on the board.

What is it? A gathering? A gaggle? A pride of Jacks?

Anyway, I think you needed to make about a PS bet here, especially with 2 others in, someone almost surely has a str8 draw with that flop and they are going to get huge odds to call, espcially if they both stay in.

trips!

A set is where you have the pp and u hit one on the flop. Trips is where u have one and 2 are on the board.

Can I just ask why you are re-raising with AJo?

Yes, numero uno: AJ doesnt warrant any thing over 2-3x BB raise. 2nd, I put him on the straight and nothing worse, it was kinda obvious. 3rd, yes those are only trips, not a set. A set has a much higher implied value

pre-flop. I wouldn't re-raise to 3 with AJo. Maybe to 1-1.5.

flop- this is kind of tricky.. You did make a huge bet preflop, so the guy who had Q9 is just bad. but you have to be worried about KQ AQ or whatever else. I would probably bet 2/3 the pot and hope that a scare card didn't come. Then again, you are low stacked already and it's not gonna cost u that much to finish the hand. So you're pretty much committed once u bet strong at the flop. it's up to u 2/3 to pot sized bet tho.
