Played this hand out yesterday... and it's been bugging me since.
UTG is definitely a TAG. CO, less so. I wouldn't say he's LAG, but somewhere in between. My thought process at the time:
I'm OOP for the rest of this hand. I've got middle-high pair. There's an UTG raise from a TAG and a massive re-raise from another. As it was I felt the only way I had a chance at that hand was to hit a set and I was certainly not getting the odds to call in that case. I folded, as the HH shows. Was I too nitty for my own good here?

Unless the CO is a total donk I'm folding this. His reraise screams QQ+.

Yes, it did. However, he ended up showing 88 after UTG folded.
I am guessing that was the reason for the hand sticking in my craw the way it did. I felt good about the laydown until I saw the 8s. But re-raising like that to a TAG UTG raise... I was putting him in just what you said... Ks or As.
Even after folding and seeing his cards, I was pretty sure that I made the right move in that situation. I'm trying to not get sucked into results-oriented thinking. So I made a note on CO and moved on. I did, however, still want to get some input from the players here.
Thanks.
