PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Button ($16.85)
SB ($46.40)
BB ($24.25)
UTG ($22.90)
UTG+1 ($80.20)
MP1 ($6.50)
Hero ($61.60)
MP3 ($24.30)
CO ($9.55)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 6, 6.
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, MP1 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, 1 fold, CO calls $0.25, Button raises to $0.75, SB calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50.

Flop: ($5.50) 7, 6, 7 (7 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets $3, MP1 folds, Hero raises to $9, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $6.

Turn: ($23.50) 5 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $17, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: $40.50

I pushed the turn too hard, I think if he had a seven he would have reraised the flop. I guess I was paranoid about getting sucked out on if he did have a hand like A7 or K7. As you can see, we were both deepstacked, so I wanted him to pay. But I think I pushed too hard, I definately think I could have won more. How would you have played this?

Did the convertor mess up? If you bet $17 into a $40 pot you did nothing wrong..

I'd have called the flop hoping for overcalls from the rest of the field, just like a regular set. Your flop raise tells him he's probably WB so when the turn misses him he checks to you to see where he stands. You tell him he has no chance so he easily folds. If you call the flop he probably bets the turn and you can raise him there instead.

edudlive, it looks like he put $17 into a $23.50 pot. Still good?
Disclaimer: Working my way up in 25NL so...

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
I'd bet $10-12 on the turn (around 1/2 pot).
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Lots of money still behind and hero really wants to go to showdown all-in. Everything looks fine to me.
